World-Renowned Pianist’s Fingers Practically Fly Across The Keys During Her Swingin’ “Boogie-Woogie”

This impressive pianist puts the “boogie-woogie” in the early 1920’s swing music, putting on a flawless live performance in front of a massive crowd in Germany. Her swinging rhythm and effortless playing are enough to make you want to jump out your seat and start dancing the Lindy Hop.

Though being only fourteen years old when she started playing, Vanessa Sabrina Gnaegi, popularly known as Ladyva, is an exceptionally talented Swiss pianist. She is known primarily for her swinging boogie-woogie and jazz playing style, inspired by the iconic musicians of the 1920s.

Truly a musical prodigy, Ladvya began performing live after just a few years on the instrument. Since then, she has been featured on over 30 popular TV programs and appeared at multiple boogie-woogie festivals. In 2009, she released her first album, and then went on to sign with Universal Music in 2011.

In this dazzling live performance of “Boogie Woogie Stomp,” Ladvya truly lives up to her title of “Best Boogie Woogie Pianist.” But possibly her most striking attribute, aside from her incredible finger dexterity, is her charming ease on stage – during this performance, she can’t help but glance back at the audience with a radiant smile.
