Non-profit animal rescue organization Hope For Paws has completed a lot of astounding rescues. This rescue shown below was carried out about a year ago. They received an urgent call about a homeless pit bull that had been injured and was in a pretty bad shape. He was in an empty lot next to the home of a woman who had called. She had dogs of her own, and couldn’t take him in.
The kids in the neighborhood wounded the poor dog by throwing rocks at him. When the rescuers approached him, he seemed a bit wary and hid by a trash can. But Eldad from Hope For Paws is known to woo dogs with burgers, and this time it worked once again! He was a big dog, but never made a sound. He looked so sad, and he took the cheeseburger from Eldad’s hand without any aggression.
Eldad went into the woman’s yard and managed to get the leash around the dog’s neck with no protest from him at all. He walked to the end of the fence with him. After an hour, he walked on the leash and got right into Eldad’s car. In the car, he was sitting in the woman’s lap and leaning on Eldad. Aww, precious.
They decided to name this handsome dog Buddha. Thanks to them Buddha now has a hope for a good life. Back at the center, he proved he was a good companion because he quickly made friends with a cat who seemed to love him.
