You can find just about any video on Youtube that you want to see. While you can watch the original music video for the hit song “Uptown Funk” by Bruno Mars, that song was featured in another video that made waves.
Nerd Fest UK is a Youtuber who has over 40,000 subscribers. The channel is known for taking clips from famous classic films and mashing them to modern chart-topping music. With thousands of views across several videos, one stood out from the rest.
The video starts with a scene from the 1932 film, ‘Red-Headed Woman.’ You see an actress in black and white begins to play a vinyl record. As it starts to spin, Uptown Funk, begins playing, making you immediately dance along.
There are a variety of movie clips from between 1920 and 1960 that Nerd Fest UK uses in their videos. The clips seamlessly play along with the song, and it looks as if the two are meant to be. It takes incredible talent for someone to match up old movies with modern songs. Well done, Nerd Fest UK.
