The Orphaned Wildlife Center is the home to several incredible bears, and head caretaker Jim is often filmed caring for his bears and interacting with them in sweet and adorable ways.
Because he treats his bears like members of his own family, the majestic creatures will often climb on or around him, give him hugs, and try to climb into his lap for petting and affection.
When a donation box arrived at the wildlife center, Jim took it out into the enclosure and welcomed two of his bears, Syrian brown bears named Jenny and Amy, to help him open the package.
They are young and very curious, so it was a rare treat for them to help Jim open his box of donations. They were especially excited when they discovered the contents of the box.
That is because inside the donation box were several bags of delicious pecans. As soon as Jenny and Amy discovered the pecans, all bets were off and they began forcing their way closer to get the bags.
Jim, in his typical good humor, laughed alongside his bear children, gently pushing them away until he was able to successfully open a bag of pecans. He shared the treats with Jenny and Amy.
It was a touching and memorable scene for a kindhearted caretaker who has dedicated his life to protecting, rescuing, and rehabilitating orphaned bears. The Syrian brown bears enjoyed every minute of it.
