The Barbershop Harmony Society features some of the best barbershop quartets from all over the world. The group Main Street proved they belong in that category with their hilarious performance.

As most barbershop quartets do, they begin by singing about the good old days. Then they realize that popular songs from today will be considered from the “good old days” twenty years from now.
To give us a glimpse of the future, they perform a medley of pop songs from Britney Spears, NSYNC, and Pink. All of these numbers are accompanied by hilarious dance moves.

In dramatic barbershop fashion, they deliver the lines of their last song: “Uptown Funk.” The audience laughs as they comically attempt to sing the catchy tune seriously.
They interlude with a bit of banter displaying their knowledge of “hip” terms, much to the crowd’s delight. Then they conclude by singing about how today’s songs will be cool twenty years from now.

Of course, the quartet has to sneak in a few more pop songs and adds Lady Gaga, Maroon 5, Megan Trainor, Psy, and Michael Jackson to their hit song medley.
Main Street ends their performance, and the audience is on their feet for a standing ovation. This barbershop quartet may claim to be stuck in the past, but we love them now and in the future!
