The colored wall maze which the creator also called “The Wall Game,” is a fun maze puzzle that puts a special twist on the usual mazes. It has walls like normal mazes, but you can pass through some of them.
These walls that you can pass are marked in blue or red, but the key rule to follow is that you cannot pass through the same color twice. This means that if you pass a red wall you have to pass a blue wall next.
This creates a challenge because near the exit are a lot of blue walls, and the path out seems near impossible to get to unless you think outside the box.
It seems to be a very simple puzzle, there are lots of possible paths you can take, but so far there seems to be only one solution. Since it is a maze, after all, it is only fitting there is only one way out.
The design is very clever to get players to think outside the box while playing within the box itself. The real walls are the border of the maze, and the small boxes that hold the blue and red lines.
Rarely is the straightforward path the right answer to the maze. At first glance, it seems so short and easy, but the more you try it the more you get stuck.
