Dogs are one of the most loyal and devoted creatures you can find on earth. Their sense of loyalty exceeds human expectations, and their ability to forgive is much greater than a human’s. They say a dog is the only living being that loves you more than he loves himself. They don’t hesitate to put their lives on the line for their humans and they have nothing but love to give! And in some cases, dogs play the role of a hero, as you will see in this clip!
This dog was sitting by the side of a lake while his owner went in to take a swim. The man was enjoying the waters when he suddenly disappeared beneath the surface. As humans, we know this means someone is just swimming or ducking under to enjoy the water, but to a dog, it can look like their beloved owner is in trouble.
The dog noticed that his owner had gone beneath the surface. It’s amazing that dogs can sense that it isn’t necessarily natural for a human to do this and that it could mean trouble. This owner’s dog quickly jumped into the lake because he thought his owner was drowning.
Wait till you see what he did next! What a brave little guy! He wasted no time in getting a hold on his human and pulling him from the water that he felt was dangerous. He risked his life without hesitation to save his owner.
