On America’s Got Talent a young woman in her 30s walked out on stage with a big smile on her face. Before starting her performance the judges asked her a few questions.
She introduced herself as Nightbirde and her real name was Jane. They found out she hadn’t been working for the past few years because she has been battling cancer.
The song she was going to perform was an original piece called, “It’s Okay.” She explained that the song was about how life was tough but you can be happy if you chose to be.
Immediately when she started singing you could feel the emotion in her voice, and everyone listening and watching was deeply moved by her performance. You could see the judges were even tearing up.

She sang with a smile on her face despite the troubles she was going through. Her song was about being okay and she was determined to show that she was more than her sickness.
When the time came for the judges to give their comments on her performance they were all in awe of her voice and the beautiful message of the song. Simon Cowell was trying to hold back his tears.
Simon Cowell looked at Nightbirde for dramatic effect and said he wasn’t going to give her a yes but instead give her this as he pressed the Golden Buzzer. Nightbirde couldn’t believe it and fell to her knees in excitement.
