Peter Donegan certainly knew what he was signing up for when he joined the singing competition, The Voice. He was well aware of what a touch stage this was but he had perfect motivation.
Peter Donegan is a 35-year-old from London looking to make a big name for himself. He also has a wife and a three-and-a-half-year-old son looking up to him. His greatest motivation perhaps is his son having a good role model in him.
When he got on stage, Peter had all the confidence he needed and was prepared to bring the house down. As soon as he started his performance, everyone knew it would be fantastic.

Halfway in on the performance, everyone was really feeling the tune. Sir Tom Jones, a musical protege and also a judge in the contest, was especially enjoying the wonderful performance.
It wasn’t much of a surprise when he turned his seat. When the performance was finally over, he asked Peter’s name, and hearing it, he immediately recognized it.
Peter is the son of another musical legend, Lonnie Donegan. Tom was more than happy to know this and he even shared some brief history the two had shared including touring together back in the day.
When Tom proposed the two duet a song Lonnie had written for him some years back, the crowd went wild. As they delivered the magical performance, everyone could see the musical genius of both artists.
