Rescued baby bear teaches lonely German Shepherd how to have fun

Tucked away in upstate New York is the Bailiwick Animal Park, home to rescued animals of all shapes and sizes. The youngest resident is Tallulah, a four-month-old Syrian bear cub. Tallulah always found ways to amuse herself as she was the only little bear on the block.

However, playing all alone was not that amusing. So, the little cub set out to find a friend who was as lively as she was, and soon she found someone that fit the bill. However, the cute pig was too busy with the lunch to bother with the little bear cub.

After being disappointed by the pig, Tallulah decided to play with the Tortoise. The little one seemed to be very interested in him. However, the adorable animal was too slow and too hard to reach. It appeared that Tallulah would have to search higher and broader. She then spotted a tall neighbor, a Llama standing all alone.

The neighbor looked warm and cuddly, but it turned out that looks could be deceiving. So far, finding a friend was proving to be pretty tough for the poor bear cub. Unfortunately, however, someone else was at the sanctuary looking for a friend in all the wrong places.

Kayden was a 2-year-old German Shepherd and the only dog around at the sanctuary. So, his life was kind of lonely. However, when it came to finding friends, he was barking up the wrong tree. And then the big dog and the little bear stumbled upon each other, and as luck or fate would have it, Tallulah landed right in the lonely dog’s path.

They both found the friend they had been looking for. Kayden was eager to show the cub all the things he loved to do. However, when it came to swimming, the bear was not so fond of it. Though Kayden was fearless in the water, Tallulah found it pretty daunting. Indeed, as the water was not a hit with the little bear, a game of fetch would be.

However, when Kayden enticed her to get the stick, Tallulah preferred to go after the dog. Even Kayden’s squeaky toy could not do the trick. The only toy the cub wanted to play with was Kayden. Just as the dog had run out of ideas, the bear cub taught him something. Sometimes all you need is to have fun with each other. Now the two had fun everywhere.
