Stand-Up Comedian Tells Us A Story About Childbirth. The Real Message? Mind-Blowing .

Life can throw a lot at us. There are some days where it just feels like a constant wave of stressful event after stressful event. When that happens, it can be hard to even sit back and take a breath. Worry causes our bodies to tense up all the time. Sleep becomes a luxury. But what if there was a way to be able to get through this – and not need any medication or anything of the sort? Well, this video tells us a way. Just listen.

We see stand-up comedian Michael Jr. talking about the birth of his daughter. He was finally watching video of it and he realized that she stopped crying when he talked. It was amazing to watch. This newborn baby is wailing her head off and then when he tells her that he’s there, it’s an instantaneous transformation to a quiet baby. The same thing happens a few minutes later. She’s got her eyes closed and is crying so loudly that neighboring states can hear. He reassures her and tells her that he loves her. Then something so sweet happens.

What does she do? She opens her eyes and looks at her daddy right in the eye. They are going to have such a bond throughout their lives. But Michael Jr. is telling the viewers to listen to another Father. The one who created us. Just as his daughter listen to his voice and calms down, we should listen to the most powerful voice out there. That voice will relax all of us in our biggest time of stress.

Michael Jr. is right. It’s really easy to get bogged down with our own thoughts and let pessimism take over. Instead, we just need to stay still and let those bad thoughts come and go and just listen for the really important messages that can make their way in. Like the fact that you are loved. Even if you might not feel like it at the moment, it is there. All you need to do is embrace it and things will get better.
