I love the Internet. While animals and babies have been making us laugh and feel good for years, it’s only fairly recently that we got to see clips on them. For a while, we had to wait a week to see the next episode of “America’s Funniest Videos” and its other copycat shows. Now, we can watch these types of videos anytime we want to merely by going onto YouTube and putting “Funny animal videos” in the search box.
There are tons of goofy animal compilations out there, but I have to say that I really liked this one. The person who curated it did a good mix of cats, dogs, and babies. When it comes to making people laugh or feel good, any one of those is a surefire winner and combining two or three of them at a time is just enough to make you want to explode with happiness and joy. Don’t take my word for it… watch the video.
My favorite part of the video has to be when the multiple cats are crowding around a half-full bathtub, investigating a tiny mechanical swim toy. The toy flies through the water, one of the cats goes too far and at first is half on the top of the tub and half in it. He can’t get any traction on the slippery porcelain and winds up falling into the tub. His reaction had me laughing so loud that I nearly woke up my family from laughing so hard.
This video is the perfect cure for any sort of a bad day, but especially a Monday. It could be used in a pinch for Hump Day, too… which is Wednesday in the working world. If you’re in a bad mood, putting this video on should put a smile on your face. I’m pretty sure that even non-animal people will get a kick out of some of these. That’s the magic of these types of clip compilations.
