Like most of the people on earth, I am afraid of spiders. I find them creepy and weird. But there is no denying the fact that there are some species of spiders which are just breathtaking. This video features a species of spiders who are found exclusively in Australia and which are one of the most beautiful creatures on earth!
This spider is called peacock spider and there is a very good reason for that. As you can see in the video, the tail of this spider is very colorful and looks exactly like the beautiful feathered bird peacock. This peacock spider even dances like the peacock in order to attract its female counterparts. The scientific name of this spider is Maratus speciosus. Even though these spiders were discovered in 1874, the recent discovery and the scientific paper have brought them to the lime light.
