When it comes to videos, kittens are among the most watched. There are also entire YouTube channels and other social media outlets devoted to watching these kittens grow up.
In this video, we have a five-day-old kitten who was left behind by her mother. The volunteer at this shelter had to bottle feed this kitten. A kitten won’t survive long without their mother, and if it realizes she’s not there, it can be disastrous.
So, this kitty’s swaddled in a blanket to keep it warm, since Mom’s not there to offer body heat. There’s a bottle of milk that kitty initially resists but then realizes pretty quickly that she is okay and starts drinking. Then she clutches the container with her paws to keep anyone else from taking it away.
The time with the bottle is what makes it. The kitten is wiggling its ears while it drinks. When I was watching the video, I cannot help but think of Yoda from the “Star Wars” movie.
Things look good for the transition from mother’s milk to bottled milk. It’s just so darn adorable. I admit that this pushes the video high in my rankings of kitten videos.
