Among the lively streets in America, Main Street, USA was one of the nation’s most recognized locations. It was a superb place for people and their families to hang out.
All kinds of parades would often march through the wide-open street, people standing shoulder to shoulder watching joyfully. Pictures show clear blue skies with old cars lined up by the sidewalk.
Main Street was a focal point for various shops, you could find almost anything here. There were large signs with bright lights that hung outside all types of establishments.
The street was known worldwide, and Disney theme parks based their entrances on this historical place. Since it was a great symbol of the US, every park has its own Main Street.
In the 60s and 70s, main streets suffered a sudden decline due to the appearance of the shopping malls. Recent revitalization though has started to bring back main streets.
Recent revitalization has been able to bring Main Streets back to life. Thanks to tourism, it has made a comeback. There are people from all over the world coming to visit the classic symbol of the USA.
Some things no matter how old they are will find ways of surviving and even thrive, thanks to those who understand the importance of culture and history. Main Street, USA is certainly a place worth visiting.
