Parents aren’t always sure if they’re making that big of a difference to their children. Not so with these kids. They love dad dearly and can’t wait for him to come home.
Hollywood depicts soldiers as die-hard, superhuman warriors that bullets and explosions can’t touch. They may be heroes, but they’re still human this video is a stark reminder of that.
The men and women in uniform are each mothers and fathers, sons and daughters, people that were uprooted from their lives to go off and answer the call of duty.
That means that for every soldier deployed, there’s someone left behind to miss them and wait for them to come home. In the case of this soldier, it’s his children.
They use the security features of a doorbell with audio and visual capabilities to leave a message for their dad. Not just once or twice, but every single day.
We aren’t certain if this soldier made it home to see his kids, but we are certain that they loved him dearly. This warrior had something wonderful to come home to.
