Church Performs an Astonishing Ceremony to Bring People, and Their Animals, Closer to God,

The Day A Cathedral Became A Zoo

People who want to bring their pets to church, rejoice, there’s just such a place for you. New York’s Cathedral of St John the Divine holds an annual fundraiser where they fill the cathedral with animals and allow people to bring their pets.

For a donation, anyone who wanted to bring their pet to the service was allowed. In addition, the Cathedral borrowed all sorts of animals to walk down the procession, from cows to camels.

It’s the strangest mass you’ll ever see, and the most fluffy. Cats, dogs, birds, cows, sheep, goats, a pig, a skunk, and many more, assembled for The Feast of St Francis of Assisi.
