Cleaning the inside of your windshield can be difficult, but YouTuber ChrisFix has come up with a way to make it easier. By following his simple 3-step cleaning method, the cleaning process will be a walk in the park.
Before starting, you have to make sure the outside of the windshield is already clean, so you can see how dirty the inside really is. Once it is clean, you can start on the first step.
First, you will start by wiping down the windshield with a dry microfiber towel. Stay on the passenger side seat, so the steering wheel doesn’t block you.
In order to reach the tight spot where the glass meets the dashboard, he shows a technique where you angle your palm backward so you can squeeze it in.
The next step is to use a Magic Eraser or rubbing alcohol to wipe down the glass. This will remove the grease and clean any dirt. With a Magic Eraser, you need to dip it in warm water to activate it.
After wiping it with the Magic Eraser or rubbing alcohol, wipe it down again with a dry microfiber towel. This is to make sure the dirt that is collected doesn’t stay on the glass.
The last step is to use your favorite glass cleaner for the final wipe down of the glass. Spray it on another microfiber towel instead of directly on the glass, so it doesn’t stain. Once you’re done, your windshield will be spotless.
