This video has several different animals making an appearance. The one that appears most is the wolverine. Not to be confused with the superhero. They are the largest of the weasel family, weighing 17-40 pounds. They can live up to ten years and rely on snowy landscapes to survive.
The next to appear is the lynx. The lynx is more than twice the size of a house cat. They have snowshoe-like paws to make it easier to get around quickly in the snowy landscape. You will get to hear the lynx call in this video as well. How beautiful.
Other animals that make appearances include some cute bunnies, a hawk, a couple of birds, a fox, and even a squirrel. You will also see some small weasels coming and going. One is the short-tailed weasel with white fur and a dark tip on its tail. They have a white coat during winter and a dark one during the rest of the year. The tip of the tail stays the same color all year long to help defend the animal from predators.
