Josh Groban and Kelly Clarkson singing Phantom of the OperaFor the first time, Kelly Clarkson and Josh Groban teamed up to sing one of the most beautiful duets ever written, ‘All I Ask Of You’ which was originally written for the Phantom of the Opera in 1986.

Even folks who claim they “don’t like musicals” find themselves watching and liking this transcendent performance of these two acclaimed singing superstars. Kelly Clarkson is multi-talented.  She and Josh Groban did a beautiful rendition of this song.

All these years later, this timeless arrangement is still awe-inspiring. This musical is proof that some things just get better with age.

Groban and Clarkson are perfectly paired in this beautiful song that, let’s face it, has been sung far too many times, and blandly by more celebrated stars. But when you close your eyes and listen to how Groban’s and Clarkson’s vibratos are in perfect sync with each other, it will send shivers down your spine. I dare say, this is the best ‘Phantom’ performances my ears have ever heard.

I’m a huge fan of both singers, and Clarkson proves every day that she far exceeds expectations. Groban grows better every day, and like Clarkson, regularly tackles new ranges and genres. I love this.
