Imagine A House With 100,000 Lights And The Star Wars Music

This video is a real treat to the eyes of all who see it. Remember Chevy Chase in the movie Christmas Vacation and his garish display of lights on the house? Well, this will surely remind you of that, only with a Star Wars theme and a bit more class. The house has about 12,500 channels running around 100,000 lights and is well synced with the music and sound effects from the movie Star Wars. He filmed it using 35’ lift at 3am. This guy is a music director and a pure genius and must truly love Christmas and Star Wars. Well, the two together make for a very interesting light display.

His props (guitar, piano and the drums) are made of wood, metal, acrylic and corrugated plastic. Cleverly he has carried this out by avoiding shining the beams on the houses and flight paths. The light show has been set to the theme song from the Star Wars movie. The display is done to raise money for the homeless and poor through his church.

Since 99% of the lights are LEDs, the electricity to run the show for the entire month is about $100, which is huge. It was also featured on Good Morning America and ABC’s Great Christmas Light Fight.
