Do you remember those good old days when television was actually good and comedy was actually funny? Well, despite the lack of good content on TV nowadays, thanks to the wonders of the Internet and video, we can always revisit the good ole days of good television. Even if you are not young enough to remember this famous redheaded comedian, you will no doubt still find this funny.
This following video contains one of my favorite television shows ever, The Carol Burnett Show. Carol Burnett is a true comedy legend, funny even when she wasn’t performing, and she didn’t have to wear skimpy clothes or make dirty, tasteless jokes to make people laugh. You’ll be laughing out loud when you see this blooper compilation from behind the scenes of the show. It’s one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen. I love to watch these kinds of videos again and again because they make me laugh, even when I’ve seen them before.
This video in particular shows Tim Conway with Carol Burnett. He and Carol Burnett still perform together now occasionally, and both are living comedy legends. I can’t watch him perform today without thinking of Carol Burnett, his trusty sidekick from the 1970’s. He cannot continue filming in these clips because he’s all caught up in telling a story about a time where he met a circus elephant. Even the trained professionals that see him every day on his job cannot contain their laughter as the man hilariously continues his incredible story. I remember watching The Carol Burnett Show as a child and watching the actors try to contain their laughter as they filmed a live show. It just made it that much funnier.
