It has long since been written that a dog is man’s best friend. Loyal and faithful creatures, dogs look past all of our faults and mistakes and love us no matter what. Their friendship is one of a kind and we should treasure and value them and their bond. Dogs don’t pass judgement on us or shun us because we are different, and you’ll see in this clip how they are actually drawn to those who need them the most.
This video is so heart-warming. The little boy in the video has Down Syndrome. When he extends his hand and reaches out for the dog, the dog reacts in the most beautiful way possible. The response of the dog toward the little kid is very uplifting. The boy seems a little uncomfortable, but the dog doesn’t mean any harm. It is all caring support.
The little boy is sitting outside and the dog sits in front of him, waiting patiently for the little boy to accept him. The dog is a yellow Labrador Retriever, and they are a popular breed that is used for therapy and service dogs. Overall, they just make great companions and that’s what you’ll see here. When the little boy seems receptive to the dog, he moves closer, still lying down, and puts his paw gently on the little boy.
The dog seems to be telling this little boy that everything is going to be okay and the he’s here to help. I think with time, these two will become best buddies.
