When dogs are “rescued” and put into shelters it is really just a reprieve. If the dogs are not found a home to go to a reasonable amount of time they are generally euthanized. It is a sad fact that this is the fate of many abandoned animals across the world.
In the race against time there have been many failures, but also many victories. This video focuses on a shelter dog that eagerly awaits for adoption. Each time a neighbor in the shelter is adopted he worries a little bit more.
And just when he is about to give up and thinks that he will never find a loving home to go to this little girl walks past. This happy ending is not the norm for shelter animals. If you’re thinking about getting a new family pet think about adopting first.
