One of the most common types of birds to keep as pets is green parrots. Part of the reason that green parrots are so common is because they are actually many breeds that have similar plumage.
The green feathers lump these birds into the same category when really a green parrot could be a Parakeet, or a Senegal, or an Amazon, or even a Sun Conure. Other than the green of their feathers, these birds share other traits. They are all intelligent, amusing, and affectionate.
These mimic birds can be a lot of fun to have as a pet, but there is a downside. The bird in this video asks for a kiss from his friend over and over. The second parrot must get annoyed sometimes!
