Everyone wants to have that special moment at their wedding that guests will look back and say, “I remember when…” This couple certainly delivered that moment for everyone in attendance on their special day.
The bride asked her friend to lead a traditional Irish singing game. Her friend happily obliged and began to sing about a tree in a bog down in a valley.
The verse became longer and longer as she added more and more levels to the picture she was creating with her song. The bride encouraged everyone to join in the chorus.
While the guests sang the chorus, the groom gave the bride’s friend a drink of water which she gratefully accepted. Her breath control was impressive, considering how many layers she added to the song!
Finally, the whole song was complete as she sang about the nail on a shoe on the leg of a flea on the feather of a chick in a nest in a tree in a bog down in the valley.
The weddings guests clapped and cheered for her outstanding effort. She blushed and smiled. The bride and groom were glowing as well. They were glad to see their guest enjoying themselves.
