The deer can be seen wandering around outside a house. But when he catches a glimpse of the woman inside, he does something unexpected!
This was taken at an environmental education facility on Long Island. This curious deer spots the woman and copies all her moves! When she lifts her leg, he does the same. And what follows next is not only hilarious, but pretty awesome as well! Wait till you see this!
Normally a deer would run away from a human unless it was in trouble and needed help. But that’s not the case with this deer. He’s clearly familiar with his surroundings and not bothered at all by the human in the house. It’s possible he lives around the educational facility and feels very safe there. Obviously there would be no hunting allowed near there, and almost no predators.
I don’t know how they figured out that the deer would copy her movements, but every time she lifts her leg and stomps the floor, the deer does the same while watching from outside. He even switches legs like she does! This beautiful and clever animal is quite a good copycat, don’t you think?
