Laugh again with Paul Lynde and Harvey Korman as the hilarious Canoga Twins

Have you ever thought about inheriting 700 million dollars with the sole purpose of giving it away? Join us for a side-splitting romp with the Canoga Twins on The Carol Burnett Show, where comedy knows no bounds!

A recently resurfaced video clip from The Carol Burnett Show features Marion (played by Carol Burnett). She is dating her swimming pool maintenance guy Fred (Lyle Waggoner). However, the funny thing is that she still needs a pool at home.

Marion is accompanied by her friend, Louise (Dyan Cannon), a new widow with a hefty inheritance. Louise has recently been tipping people generously, leading her to give away all her money.

Louise tells her friend she has three million in cash and wants to spend it by the next day. It is no wonder Marion suggests a psychiatrist. But Louise is in search of love and kindness. Marion’s several attempts to get the 3 million cash seem futile, even after showering her friend with love and care.

This is when the doorbell rings, and Marion’s long-lost daughter (Vicki Lawrence), a runaway circus performer with a baby in tow, comes in. Her innocence is met with Louise’s odd generosity, ‘$500 for a joke book,’ she says, making the audience laugh.

A few minutes later, Marion tells her friend, Louise, that she knows Mr. Canoga has two sons from his previous marriage, Billy (Harvey Korman) and Buzzy (Paul Lynde). The doorbell rings, and the Canoga Twins enter, in dapper Brown suits, to claim the Canoga Estate. Louise’s marriage to Mr. Canoga sets off a side-splitting argument about the inheritance that’ll leave you in stitches.

The Twins call Louise a sick person for giving her money away, but Marion stands up for her. That is until the Twins offer her fifty thousand to change her mind. Louise counters, the Twins raise, and you won’t believe the ensuing laugh-out-loud bidding war!

In a final twist, Louise decides that 700 million dollars is enough for her and the Twins. She leaves Marion only after giving her a counterfeit dime for the coffee. Who else but the brilliant minds of The Carol Burnett Show could turn such a scenario into comic perfection?

The combined talents of Carol Burnett, Harvey Korman, Paul Lynde, and Dyan Cannon in this uproarious sketch are a testament to the golden era of television comedy. Their timing, delivery, and charisma are hilarious reminders of why we love and miss those days.
